“ I was surprised by this place and definitely planning to come back. Reminded me of the food I ate in Korea and at decent prices! Plus there's parking in the back. We got the gamjatang, the sullungtang, and the mung bean pancakes. It was a ton of food for two people but so worth it - took leftovers home. Flavor was amazing and serving size was good! Tastes like homemade goodness. ”

“ First things first: beautiful big parking lot with free parking, no valet. A luxury in ktown. The food was good but it didn't stand out to me. I got the normal beef sullungtang, which had plenty of beef for $15-$16. The banchan was delicious, though I wish it came with fish cakes! My friends ordered other soups including the hangover soup which was filled with veggies. These spicier soups were very flavorful and made me wish I ordered one of theirs instead. Be careful though, they definitely have a kick to them! ”

“ Food is good as always. Service is good and they checked in to see how we were doing. The chopsticks and spoons are in the wooden box on the table. We ordered the imyeonsu gui (grilled fish) and bibim naengmyun. The fish came with rice and side dishes. Fish was seasoned well and perfectly grilled. The bibim naengmyun was spicy! I love spicy food and had a good share of bibim naengmyun growing up, but their bibim naengmyun was the spiciest I've ever had. Be aware of the spiciness when ordering bibim naengmyun. If you can't do spicy, I recommend the mul naengmyun instead. They have tvs on the walls and they're all different showing Korean food lol made me want to return to try the other items on the menu bc of that! They have valet service at night time and there's plenty of parking spots on their lot during the day time. ”

“ Service was pretty good, I went early in the morning when I was hungover so they were luckily pretty fast at bringing out the food. I asked for a refill once on banchan and they loaded up on that. Ambiance was normal, I was probably to a second customer if that day and I was just trying to survive so didn't notice too much. Food was the only part that was slightly off. I would give them a 4.5 if that was an option. The rice was a bit soggy but could be a one off thing. The broth wasn't as flavorful as hanbat or Lee ga but they open early and you got to do what you need to do to survive a hangover ”

“ No frill Korean soup restaurant. The dining area is pretty big and clean. There wasn't a wait when a friend and I went for a late lunch on Saturday. We both got the Yukgaejang and it did not disappoint. The spicy beef soup comes out in a stone bowl and is piping hot. We also shared a mung bean pancake and it was huge! With 3 large patties, can be shared with a family of 6 for appetizer. Downside is that they only have 3 types of side dishes: kimchi cabbage, kimchi radish and seaweed. They also share $1 per togo container. ”

“ I've been coming here for years but somehow I thought to myself why I haven't wrote a review for this place yet. i guess you only put the time to write sh!t abt a place lol. ofc you want to warn abt the place that's why wink wink this place is my goto breakfast place. servers are always so caring and nice. i get the bfast special because I got sick of paying $22 for a sullungtang at Han Bat. smell of their sullungtang is so nostalgic it reminds me of my grandmother. don't you hate the feeling of when you are about to go pickup your food but having to think about the server's attitude towards you or watching me how much I tip etc. I never felt that way about this place. ”
